[phone removed] Description[INDENT] I've decided to put my series 2 VL Calais Turbo up for sale.... i was planning on spending big dollars to transfer it into a Show Contender but something else has come up that i now require those same funds for.. This car is totally genuine, totally unmolested in ANY way, NO MODIFICATIONS to this vehicle whatsoever. This car was owned by a retired gentleman who serviced this car every 5k... The car has a genuine 214,000klm on it and drives like a dream... although i dont drive it. The car DOES need a Paint job... no two buts about it, Its asteroid silver & this colour does have a habit of fading, the roof has some minor surface rust, body its very very straight, the left rear quarter has had a light repair in its time & its also missing the front LHS chrome trim atop of bumber, other than that the calais is tip top! The interior is amazing as photo's will show. I replaced the head when i bought it.... the car has only done about 30 kilometers since my purchase. It has all books, still has working ORGINAL HEAD UNIT fitted, has spare keys & remote locks. This car is an UNTOUCHED survivor & will suit someone that wants an all time classic original &/or the perfect base to create a big dollar show scene contender which what was my intention..... & still will be if it doesnt sell... it just may take that dream a little longer. Why am i asking $17,500 for a 27 year old car you may be thinking..... well, you just dont find them like this anymore.

ok.. lets get this straight once a for all. Only this morning & from someone posting the above trading post ad, was i able to make further enquiries. I did what i had to do to get that mobile number to call the person who listed the ad. Rang the number, it was answered by a woman, had a chat with her.... SHE & HER HUSBAND used that ad to sell the car to the guy that i bought it from( he told me a complete bull**** story about how he came about the car which she confirmed this morning) he had the car for about a week before listing it... i wanted a vl turbo at the time & hastily bought it..... this guy made a very quick back after i now know the real price that he paid for it... i paid double...BUT... it was what i was willing to pay for the car...SIMPLE..... a person can sell & buy a car for whatever they like.... regardless.... I mean the VK GROUP A Group3 thats in my avatar sold for $227,000 & i only paid $30 grand for it..... if people want a certain something, they'll pay a certain price for it. The lady was very apologetic of what has happened as she & her husband were under th impression the ads had been removed..... & to these other pricks that have put up another ad on gumtree trying to rubbish me.... BOYS... TAKE A GOOD HARD LOOK AT YOURSELVES... AND FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO DO WITH YOUR TIME OTHER THAN LOOK FOR CONSPIRACY THEORIES!!. The price is $12, 500 with a RWC or $12,000 Without.... Car is originally from greensborough that was owned by a 80 year old! I know this because I gave him my number if he wanted to sell one day! He said he had a lot of other numbers of people that were interested. I think the neighbor bought it and then resold it straight away!! Price is now steep though for condition!
