Why would you wanna do that ?

Turbo 400's are a tough box and cheap to build . But they are heavy and suck quite a bit of power and to set one up behind an RB30 will be expensive .

factory they can handle abit , yess they heavy but ohwell , b cheaper the jatco n powerglide

Building a Jatco would be a far more cost effective option and wouldnt have any trouble handling the power that it would be producing. But if you are set on T400 i'd hit up http://rodshop.com.au/

What do you think fitting a Turbo 400 will cost you mate . If you deal with the right people , I'm sure you'll find someone that will build you a tough Jatco . Maybe speak to someone like Al's Race Glides or Protrans .

26-10-13, 21:37 GMT+10#16 You will go faster in a 3speed with those mods, glides really only come into there own when you are making 400rwkw plus. As others said go a C4, Maatouks have had cars running 7's on a C4, turbo 400 are good as well.

29-11-13, 17:39 GMT+10#18 Boosted wagon you hit the nail right on the head... I have the same setup with 380kw on e85 with Trimatic and a 3300rpm converter it's killer on the street and on the track it went 9.9
It comes down to quality parts and the driver dnt load them up in 2nd or 3rd and pretty much just treat them right n u will be sweet

01-12-13, 10:59 GMT+10#20 ive got a glide 20 psi with 35 and ran 10.5.
So reliable compared to Jatco and so many parts available.
Atleast the beef is there if you ever want to step it up, same goes with TH400 boxes.
I'd rather have it sap power and not break twice a year like most Jatco's seem to.
MV Auto do a RB to TH400 bellhousing.

Will have to bash out your trans tunnel, custom cross member and B&M etc shifter.
