Well i'm gonna to build a slappa 26/30. I've still got my na bottom end that i've been running for the last 2 years, i've sold all the single cam stuff off, and well wanting to really just have my car going (havn't driven it in over a year, well since i drove it back from melbourne and this will keep me happy till i finish building the rb26det engine.
i'll keep an update and pictures along the way of how i do it and how it goes!
I've got everything ready bar the timing belt but will order that on monday so that should hopefully be the last thing but wont slow the process down during the week!
want it running buy next weekend!

no idea on the bottom end, pulled it from an executive that had been siting for god knows how long! have done 2 burnout comps on it, and driven it from melbourne to darwin, made a safe 238rwkw and ran a best of 11.69 out of it!
so will bolt the spare rb26 head to it, using a standard inlet manifold and a greedy/trust stainless manifold with gate and a t04z. headgasket is just a 2nd hand one in the shed from a mates previous 26 build, using ford xr6 injectors, hoping to make around the 300kw mark, or when ever the safest duty cycle on the injectors are reached! putting a rb26 standard harmonic balancer on, and will rev it to 6500 max

And using a rb26 head gasket! That's all I have ever used on the rb30
Rb25 head studs
And a built Jarco 4 speed with the works

11-06-12, 23:52 GMT+10#19 Wow so many questions!
Do u understand what Slappa means? Any1 here understand?
Head bolts are rb25det headbolts 2nd hand!
So that should stop the head walking around
I'm not chasing massive numbers! Just want it to run and do a skid! And push it till it has problems fix them and push it some more!
Vvti ??? Its and rb26 head doesn't have vvti! Tapping the extra pully this week when the belt arrives
