just wanted to know what a hj gts ute is worth? if it came with....... custom paint job about 2 years ago "midnight blue". Engine:rebuilt 350 chev mild cam new rods,new shafts, Shaved heads. Engines only done 4000kms if that since rebuild . Brand spanking new 650cfm holley double pumper carby. Transmission: t400 box also new and rebuilt with the motor with a 2 speed power glide b&m shifter fully manualised. car produces over 250kw at the rears. New ball joints new seals new bushes, diff reco also same time as engine and trany reco. diff is a 9'' inch locker. please tell me your thoughts? thanks Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

They didn't make a gts ute, only coupes and sedans.

if the hj is registered legit & engineered with a 350 chev, that might be worth something as getting hard to find. Maybe he means the GTS Guard flutes. his Ingrish is bery paad

I'll give you the hot tip, it doesn't make 250rwkw. Not with that manifold. And a "mild" 350 wont make that sort of rwkw. Put it this way, PROGMH's old 350 was like 10.5:1 comp, solid cam, DART heads, 830 Annular Holley, all the gear... went 238rwkw and 11.44 @ 114mph.

As mentioned previously there's no such thing as a HJ GTS ute. Sandman was the highest option in panelvan and utility. I'd be asking for dyno sheets for that 'over 250rwkw' run. You'd be turning it pretty hard to get that and I doubt a 650 carb would keep enough fuel up to it.

anything with GTS style guards would be referred to as a GTS these days despite not being genuine.

Still wouldn't. 250hp at the engine is a more realistic figure, but even then....
