just thought id let everyone know, the power to weight ratio for victoria is 133kw per tonne, so strap up boys! and could someone tell me how to check via vin number or comp plate if its a genuine Calais, cause the vin calculator sometimes doesn't work, any help would be great Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

It's 130kw/tonne, not 133. The notice says for cars that have 'the power/weight ratio' printed on the build plate. This says calais turbos are banned: http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/NR/ex...4AC2356E20.htm (http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/NR/exeres/2CCDA928-0B07-404D-B6A5-F14AC2356E20.htm) And this link says that all turbo's are still banned except for VL Berlina Turbo Wagons, which require an application for exemption. http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/NR/ex...4AC2356E20.htm (http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/NR/exeres/2CCDA928-0B07-404D-B6A5-F14AC2356E20.htm)

Lol do your research, VLT's are still banned. Your build plate has to be stamped by the manufacturer. You think Holden are going to waste their time on a 25 year old car? Once again it's just a face for Vicroads to say that they're trying to do the right thing, where as really they continue to **** over most P Platers and just reward the rich who can afford brand new Golfs and Falcons from Daddy.

Just curious Petrievl, if aerodymics are for people who can't build engines, how do you explain the VL Walkinshaw?
