That's why the thread title is quickest instead of fastest.

"The car is 925kg which is nearly 300kg over weight for the class it is in and 50kg out is usually worth a 10th, problem is there's really nothing much we can take from the car so we'll have to look at other options."

12-02-12, 16:29 GMT+10#14 from rips "The engine is a fully streetable, fully water cooled RB30, it runs on petrol, the block is stock (no sleeves) stock RB30 crank, stock cradle, stock mains bolts, stock size 11mm head studs, RB26 head, Link G4 ecu, RIPS intake plenim, RIPS 90mm throttle body, RIPS exhaust manifold, twin turbosmart wastegates, GTX45 turbo 35psi, 2 speed powerglide trans, 4.86 gears, MT 10.5 tyres.
we usually do 1 oil change per season, a set of plugs last 2 seasons and the motor did 3 years untouched (head never off, sump never off) at 1400hp/9500rpm.
This is a fully streetable engine that we could easily take out and put back in a street car and drive long distances without issue. It idles at 900-1000rpm, runs on petrol and has a full normal cooling system etc, Its almost criminal how mild this engine is compared to other very low 7, high 6 second engines.

12-02-12, 21:05 GMT+10#20 Car has gone 188 but probably not pb it's et which is why fullboost would not show it.. Full boost is also very out of date with the records lol eg. It has vlboss 8.65 when I know for a fact it has gone 8.0 Boostn shows up still in the 8s when it has gone sevens so I wouldn't take that as gospel mate...
Good time by the way congrats..
