Since a young boy iv'e been a big fan of all holdens and have loved them to death, one day when i was driving down past footscray hospital something shiny caught my attention and there she was parked on the side of the road, i was in love, i didn't hesitate to leave a note on the windshield, a few days passed and i didn't receive a call, drove down the road again, saw her and the note was gone, i died a little inside until i received a phone call from the owner telling me i was the luckiest bloke alive because just that week he had decided to sell it, and here she is gentlemen 1968 hk premier baby blue 186 two speed power glide slapped ---------- Post added 10-08-11 at 23:10 ---------- since those photos the back bar has been re - chromed currently getting the front done, the Venetians have been redone and the secret to shiny chrome is mr sheen Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

looks magic mate. what hapend to the front bar?

nothing, it was just due for re-chroming, i took it to western metal polishing, and it was rusted inside so much that when they zinc coated the bare metal it kept going through some rust, so that bar was rubbish, but didn't find it hard to pick up a new one at Automotive disposals, bought a bar there for 100 bux for the Hk, he stamped it so if the same thing happened i would have returned it, but ye. the new bar is finished just have to go pick it up. heavy as **** when you get it re-chromed, but the key to keeping re-chromed things looking brand new believe it or not is Mr.sheen.

hey brawlr get you the price when i get my front back, and i dont know PSI-EFI, its more of a cruiser, triple SU's should fry like an 8, but people freak out when they see me come princess, you know unusual for a young bloke like myself to be driving a hk prem on their P's... but see what happens, the front bar is done just have to pick it up so should be nice, ill get more photos up soon.

really nice car there, I spotted a white one the other day in similar condition btw mr sheen contains something that will stop new paint from adhering so try not to get any on painted panels, can't remember what it's called

Yeah, I heard that too Aus880, but you only spray it lightly on close to the chrome, i would cry if my paint oxidized, but ye gentlemen maybe soon i might bring it out to princess considering the weathers picking up.

dude this things big pimpin. love that old school'ness about it. make sure u keep it mint and original an dont do too many 'new age' mods to it. But I reckon yeh they way the body is is sik and doesnt need to be changed, motor work would be cool...would be tuff as hell with an 8 and a filter out the bonnet lol! all the old dudes at cruises will freakin love it!!! nice work bro Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
