Low life scum. Has made the front page of Stuff, so hopefully someone might be able to shed some light on it. Hope it gets found in one piece. I reckon we really should be allowed to lop the hand off thieves!

I didn't even notice that. Spoke with him this morning and he said they used a sledge hammer to break down the oak door to his house then push started the car (flat battery) and took off with nothing else missing. they left the sandman and Torana which makes me think it was stolen to order.
hopefully something turns up as he is pretty gutted at the moment.

ps was it gps'ed or tracked??
Nah no GPS tracking. idnt help that he had it registered to his home address rather than the business. He had a few enquires on TM about the car and people that were supposed to turn up and have a look at and didn't. a reminder to us all to take care and when selling a car meet people somewhere rather than give ot your address.
We should be able to line all thieves up and shoot the pricks.
Really sad to hear!Gotta have them tracked.Yes and I agree about the thieves too.
By the way love your avatar,When I saw the pic I really loved the work that went into that car!
Chees Marty
Geeez there really are some f'd up people out there
No surprise a "White Subaru" may have been involved.
Pretty typical criminal vehicle

ahaha, i was gonna say the same thing!
it really sucks that you just can't trust anyone, or have nice stuff without the fear of people stealing it from you. had that been my car, it would have been gps equipped...oh and i would be sleepin next to it too!

thing that also blows, on top of all that grief the insurance company will ream him cause it was for sale at the time of theft.they will investergate the owner more so because of it.been there done that.they suspect that you have "dumped" it cause your having trouble selling it or need cash quick.
not saying thats the case here though but you know what i mean.
alternativley, it may not even be hidden. A friends SLR was stolen and parked in the front of a panama rd house for months and because of higher priority crimes, the car was never acted upon. They wanted to get them for drugs. Theft was not enough and would have blowen the bigger case.
I doubt it will be stripped, even then you could not move the parts.
PANAMA RD! **** man been down there a couple of times , should of just said there was drugs 'n guns in the house and they would of surrounded it with the armed offenders squad....
did he get his SLR back??
