Apparently the torana was stopped or going very slow entering a roundabout when his mate in the GTS behind him had a seizure and hit the torana at 150kmh. The cage saved the owner of the torana. The driver of the GTS is in hospital. ---------- Post added 28-05-11 at 14:22 ---------- This is what it was like before hand... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

**** me dead! Thats a big hit! I hope the driver of the GTS is alright. That's serious stuff having a seizure at that speed. Shame to see two beautiful cars wrecked aswell. Hopefully both drivers end up ok.

From what I understand the seizure caused him to jam the accelerator wide open

Far out! Hope everyone involved is alright and makes a complete recovery from any injury. A similar thing happened not far from my place a while ago where a lady had a seizure while driving and jammed the accelerator flat to the floor. Luckily her 12yr old daughter was smart enough to grab the wheel and direct them into the trees before they managed to build up too much speed. Very scary situation to think about.

assuming the Torana had a fuel cell and whatnot in the boot it's damn lucky things didn't end up worse! hope both drivers are ok, looks like most of the car is salvageable. **** the guy in the gts must feel bad even thought it wasn't his fault Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Depends on the seizure my ex missus could talk to me in a seizure and got me to drive my car around a supermarket carpark and park it up
