Lol, my mate just told me about it...Personally, I dont like the idea of a ford motor in a vl....Just because I hate Fords! :P

there's no denying the xr6t motor fair cracks along but, a basically stock one will pull easy low 12's and that's in a heavier shell than the VL, will be interesting to see what it could do

im really interested to see how it turns out ill be following his progress with it, those motors make really good power really easily, they seem to do well in the falcons so in a vl being much lighter it should be awesome! i say props to him for doing something completely different!

Well i never expected this .........yet lol Yeah picked up a late BF 4.0 with 33,000k's on it, should go alright with a 2speed, microtech, GT42R ect. Already had the motor in and fits like a glove lol minus the swaybar. Dont need that for going in a straight line. I dont have much yet bar the fuel system and battery relocated to boot, just been painting the bay so far. To all the haters......I really dont care what anyone says I cant wait to feel the tyre frying torque besides why dont people get flack for a toyota or chev motor??? same thing really, im just going a different way Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

haha thanks guys, i cant wait either saving for 2speed and converter atm, most expensive part of the whole thing especially when i picked the motor up for $350 lol Scored too cause the motor being late 06 has the typhoon bottom end and upgraded valve springs, all i have to do is the cam gears. another pic p.s. if anyone knows of a 2speed for sale that can handle over 600hp please let me know, cheers. Thanks vlaero, im looking forward to seeing how far we can push the standard motor b4 it breaks Nah they are way too expensive whitey, especially when you can pick one of these up with 33,000 on it for $350 Hoping to have it done by powercruise in Sept, cant see it being ready for powerplay.
