Just wondering if anyone knows where to get Simmons copies from??? Please dont tell me Tempe Tyres as they are wanting $1200 a rim.....

Simmons no longer make wheels... Tempe in Sydney now own the design I belive and now make them.

I've never heard of or seen Simmons copies

How can he advertise them as Simmons wheels when they aren't? Do they come with Simmons centre caps?

yeh tempe tyres bought out simmons and are making simmons wheels and simmons copy's with simmons center caps lol

And the only difference is the genuine ones are 3 piece and the fakers are 1 piece...

Tempe Tyres bought the rights to now produce simmons wheels with the simmons print as they bought them outright from Tony Simmons, they had also been selling simmons copys(made from the same mould) prior to getting the simmons name

Thanks for the help boys, spoke to Tempe and they want 1200 a rim plus tyre but who knows if that real or fake with those guys....... Anyone doing any cruising or got one planned???

I remember years ago there was a B45 style one piece rim with the same style centre cap as simmons but said 'exquisite' they looked exactly the same.

far out you guys have it all wrong... do some research... the wheels you want arnt simmons copies, but fr19 look alikes (not that they even look similar) There is a thread on this site about Tempe Tyres and Simmons with all the information about the rims being made (which will be no different to how they were being made)

im not wrong i already know.the rims in link are gay.the new tempe simmons are good just gay as prices they can keep them

Except now they are forged billet (AFAIK)
