Hey guys just wanted to welcome into the VL scene for the first time, after 4years in the build this awsome immac VL Calais from NSW "UDNTNO". Today it had its debut in the car scene at the melbourne C4C under 12volt Customs, and considering that the car itself is only 80% from been full complete, it looked awsome under the sun today. Some pics of the car from today, more pics will be following...... Enjoy!
looks mad stef.. sorry i didnt make it today mate..
ohh, and give the camera to someone that can stand up straight next time, :P
IMO the doors kill every vl doors ive ever seen, tho i might be abit bias, lol.. door pics??
Very, very nice. Deffinately has potential to be one of the best vls on the street scene.. I'd go a plazmaman core though and tuck it away

I see no brake booster in the bay has been hidden under the dash ? or is that part of the 20% left to do lol
One of the guys that did some work on the car had been talking to me a while back about relocating brake boosters and various other parts out of the engine bay so i'm guessing this car is one of the projects he was talking about.
Corsa
the 20% of the car that hasnt been finished are small touches that i wanna finish off on it. Brake system is a willwood underdash system, with 2 cylinders.
Just to give you guys some more info on the car, the owner sent the car too me originally for me to wire it all, as the car was gutted from all wiring. As he had been stuffed around in the past by other workshops, and been limited living in the country, he wanted to find someone that can finish off what he had already started. The car came too me already looking immac, he just wanted me to step it up a notch. So i stepped in as project manager to get the interior, mechanical/tunning, engine bay, body and wiring organized for him. He just wanted the car to be full complete. Bellow are some details of the car itself....

The rear and front bars body lines have been removed and smoothed, which i personally think it looks awsome.
All undercarriage has been painted, cleaned, and powdercoated.
The interior is one of the main things that stands out on this car. We wanted to keep the factory looking dash, but make it better then what the factory brought out. Entire dash has been smoothed, body lines deleted, electric mirror switch relocated, custom autometer cluster, deleted air vents, custom made console with rear tv screen, deleted heater controls and factory headunit slot, custom made door trims with VZ door handles flipped upside down to give it a diffrent touch, scheel seats re-trimmed, boxed flooring.
You really need to go throw the entire car to see the detail that has been put into this car. Some quick snaps below.....
