Hoping to get it tuned in the next week or two and then chasing broken drivetrain components for the rest of the year. Oh and hopefully an 11
Going to change the valve springs and change the head gaskets. Should be able to get somewhere near or over 400rwkw's.
Dale from Castle Hill Exhaust will be tuning it. Need to upgrade the clutch as well. I'm going to lift the intercooler a bit and the rear will sit lower as i will be tubbing it a bit
You will certainly be into it for over 400rwkw!!! Good Stuff.
I reckon you will need 14psi for that but it will honk. That will put you into the 10's if you can steer.
So I guess you have a Z-grip coming? And some CV joints for the diff?
thats gonna look insane once it's tubbed
But take my advice and spray the cooler black so it's a real sleeper, pretty please
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
Duke: Dunno about using a Zgrip, looking at some US clutches atm and some GForce rear end bits.
Az: Yeah over 400 will be pushing it but I have a spare motor and it'll give me a good excuse to go with a iron 402
Woggster: Cooler will be painted black and moved up a little. Tubbing will only be squaring up or whatever minor stuff is needed to get as big a tyre as possible under it.
Coco: What more do you want to know. Stock motor with 180000ks, manual exec with 76mm garrett turbo kit, 600 x 300 x 75 intercooler, Magnaflow regulator, single 044 with ebay surge that has mounts for 2 044's when needed, Single 3 inch exhaust, 60 lb injectors (not fitted until tune)
This is the fuel setup (excuse the phone pic)

Malwoods are another option but don't like the abuse as much. Though they are a better daily driving clutch from all accounts. I've never personally driven one. I had a Z-grip before hand at it was a bit of a tart occasionally to drive, but it didn't fail on me and I was pretty nasty to it.
The GForce CV's are stuff are awesome. When you get some spare cash the carbon fibre tailshafts are pretty cool as well.

Thats all I need to know. Will be real good to see when this stocker will granade itself.
Taking it to get tuned on Wednesday at CHE. Haven't had a chance to upgrade head gaskets, clutch or another 044 so about 350rwkw is what I'm aiming for.
Moving/selling house this months so got a bit on. Once the mayhem has settled then the mods will begin...
A freind of mine made 538 rwhp with a t51r on a standard engine then cracked a piston ring at powercruise
