guys I recently purchased a set of 20" replica VE GTS wheels I just wanted to know if they will fit straight on or do I need to get new front strut towers etc...Ive been told they'll fit straight onto the back but I might run into some trouble getting them onto the front Any info would be great and would help heaps

As far as I know you need coil overs for the front, as the wheel hits the stock struts. Can anyone confirm?

Specs for the rims would help... If 20x8 with 40-48 offset you will be fine with 225/30R20s cheers

yeah 20's fit without coil overs i personaly dont like them they come to close to gaurd for my liking

You'll probably have to lip the guards as well.

shouldnt u have asked these questions before buying lol....

you can grind a bit of the front strut away to get extra clearance if the rims are a bad offset, bit dodgy though

i got 20's on mine. they will fit straight on, you don't need coil overs or spaces. if your car is lowered you will need to roll all your gaurds and get an adjustable pan hard rod. and if the front tyres start to wear out in the inside and a wheel allignment dosn't fix it, you may require a camber caster kit

if you've bought them, then just try them on and see

u will have to get the guards rolled on the rear if they're a crappy offset. also ive been told the seat belt bolt will eat your tyres if u dont grind it down other than that shouldnt be too hard

if all else fails you CAN hammer the crap out of the bottom corner of the strut... done it a few times... works a treat for 0 dollars

Properly adjusted front suspension shouldn't be wearing out the inner edges of front tyres, regardless of their profile. If the inner edge of the tyre is not clearing the spring platform, adjustable strut tops will not remedy this.

My 20x8.5's went straight on using 225/30/20 rubber, rolled guards and that was it. Just make sure the offsets arent huge and you shouldlnt have a drama.
