PWR are dam expensive for a bloody radiator, depends on your budget i suppose. I got a chinese made direct fit aluminium radiator for only $320 from a local speed shop. Quality looks really good but i haven't fired it yet so i can't tell ya much about how good it works.

Expensive but good, I have one, can't fault it, if you were spending bulk cash on a motor would you put cheap oil in it? Why would you put a cheap radiator in it? They don't last long without water.

aussie desert coolers make radiators for anything and everything and are used by almost all the cars in summernats burnout comp so if they can cop that and the cars are living then they must be the $hit.

i get some made up, all polished, work great (kept an lpg car cool when the stock radiator use to get cained!). they are $450. pm me if you want me to send you a pic or quote on freight. ive got one here, and i can get another one made in a few days for anyone else.

As long as the radiator doesn't burst its guts and can keep the motor at the right temp, it's doing all it can do for you. A big brand name doesn't guarantee you against failure, and i've definately seen PWR and Aussie Dessert Coolers fail. Don't get me wrong though, if money was no object i'd be running PWR myself.

My one is a vpw radiator they are around the 450 mark and i think paul has had them polished now. The way they have been built looks pritty simple but robust.

I heard that the alloy radiators hold more heat? Apparently 3 core radiators are meant to cool alot more efficiently and dont hold as much heat as the alloy ones? Anyone know if this is true?

You can get 3-core alloy radiators.. Very expencive. The cheaper ones I've heard are prone to overheating..

You can also get the vl v8 radiators and both pipes moved to same sides. They are 3 core compared to the standard 2. And are 45 mm thick compared to 32. Its another option for cooling.
