it hooks upto your exhaust were ever u want it to and u press the buttom in your car and it opens a valve which makes your exhaust open upsay if u have yr exhaust cut out dumped before the diff then u press the buttom and your exhaust is back to normal street legal hope u can understand that lol

I want to get one, but for a screamer pipe.. so i can have it plumbed back in or not by the touch of a switch. I hate screamer pipes, but i miss mine so much!

My brother had the manual version of these on his VH, opened the exhaust just after his extractors.. meant to be for drags, don't need to drop your pipes etc. but using them on the road was fun freaked people out.. someone would see you at the lights, play the whole reving game, all you had to do was pull the lever and they would sh|t themselves... no one would be game enough to follow through Don't some older stock ferrari's have these? set to open up at 3000+'ish rpm... making them legal..? after all it states your db level has to be below 98db (or whatever) up till 3000'ish rpm? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

E-Z just got a Nissan Cima, it has a Throttle body in the exhaust that opens up the rear muffler.. Not sure how it works yet.. not sure if its boost or RPM, but it has a big elec motor in the boot to open it via cable. oh and its all factory..

Mr Muffler made them back in the day.. not sure if they still do.. got them from Speed Pro in Dandenong I think... Can't be good or bad I think, but i'm no expert.. It's like cruising around with no pipes... Loud as hell... As I said it's meant for drags and high end cars that need to get rid of the exhaust quicker... My bro just decided to do it after the extractors just before the Y joint. seemed like the best place to put them, as thats where you would normal unbolt your exhaust for drags...

I don't know about the specific rules.. you should really speak to an engineer in NZ... as for more power.. one of the tuners or more cashed up members on here that use a dyno might be able to answer that... Personaly I wouldn't be rocking up to a defect station with them connected... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

We sell QTP electric exhaust cut outs suited to either single or twin systems. There is also a controller where you can adjust how much the flap is open. These systems are very popular with the Hot rod and Custom guys that's for sure. But for a VL, well that's a different story Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
