seeing as i quite like this car, thought i might show you guys some vids of this 2JZ powered calais turbo we got here in perth.

ignore the first 30secs of the vid, but yeah, its a nice sounding vl, and its a shame its perths fastest because it pretty much 'just hit the track' and dished out fast times and it isnt RB powered...grr (apparently they just got the motor imported, chucked it in.. bigger turbo and injectors etc, tune.. then good times)
its best run was sometime ago, which i think is still 9.1@? (mind you it did do 9.22 @147mph, so it wouldve been around 250mph maybe)
oh and, yes, of course its got the "standard" bottom end still ;o
which is bs. i wish i just went out and bought a 2jz.. i couldve had a running car by now ffs, then hook up the glide and turbo etc.. then id be done

theres a green supra in qld running 9.3 complete standard internals.
joe from gas said once these engines go in they dont come out,lol....he is yet to rebuild any of his race engines due to damage...not a bad engine i might add,knowing my luck i just jinxed myself.
