HEY PEOPLE I'M WANTING TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD EXSPECTED FROM MY VLT (WHEN ITS FINISHED) THIS IS WHAT I HAVE rebuilt rb30 mostly standard but fresh with better pistons monsta to4 (600hp) 550cc injectors fuel reg serge tank and big fuel pump micro tech big custom plenum, inter cooler (not sure on the waste gate yet still waiting to make my mind up) stage 2 gear box 3200 stall 345 spooled diff (3.89's onthe way) i want 11's so if any one can steer me the right way it would be much appreciated

only real let down will be the turbo i think as i have been told there only good for about 200rwkw an i cant see that getting u an 11sec pass

doesn't qiksix make around 300-350rwkw with one of those turbos? refer to fastest high comp thread page 3

he may make that power but where does it state he is using that ebay turbo doubtfull i think, an there is a few piks of bays with ebay mani i think but no turbo

my mate had one of those t70's from monsta made near 400wrhp!!! i will give the turbo a go and see, definitly keen on shopping around though as my goal is too run 11's now and 10's later on with new combo

He may have made 400rwhp but it would have been a horrible laggy experience...comes back to the old saying 'you get what you pay for'....but feel free to prove us wrong : )

who gives a sh*t if a few of those EBAY turbos have made "400rwhp" (most likely also on generous dynos), what matters is... FOR HOW LONG, will they handle that amount of power/boost? not long.

I have seen Ebay turbos not even last 1 pull on the dyno. I have even seen one growl like a cat on heat as soon as the car was started. Good luck with what ever choice you make.

cheers bud i will look around wepnvl has one but i dont really have that cash at the moment!!! see how things go i might change turbo's sooner rather then later

As Brett has said, spend the money on a Garrett turbo now to save your self alot of money down the track when the monsta turbo gives up and chews your engine internals to pieces.

Yeah, i made 453rwhp on a monsta t70 and waiting i'm for the thing to explode lol. I was willling to risk a turbo exploding because my engine is a $100 special from the wreckers!

other than the turbo topic.. correct me if im wrong, but 350rwhp is like 260 rwkw or sumthing.. im highly certain that willl definetly go into low 11's if not lower.. theres cars geting packages for 230 rwkw and are trying to catch an 11..
