got a few questions in relation to getting windows tinted...
got my windows tinted to the darkest legal tint on my VT but still wasent dark enough for my liking..
i want to go the darkest tint possible so you cannot see into the car at all..maybe something like limo tint...do many places want to do that sort of work or is it frowned upon because its past the legal tint..?
any one been ****ed for thier tint...?
or any other suggestions to what sort of tint would be dark but still practical?
ah okaii...also if P plates cant be seen because of the darknest of the tint is it the same penalties as not having them up?
just weighing up if its worth going as dark as i want and if the boys in blue are gonna pick up on it.
id say go down to about 20percent. as its dark but not ridiculously. ive only got 35 on mine which is the darkest here. its not that dark during the day but at nights its good.
i would assume it would be the same as not showing plates just liek if u have ur rego sticker on tinted glass its illegal
hey mate ive got limo tint on my vs, its mint keeps it cool in summer and i have been pulled over that many times and not once have they said anything about the tint. only problem reversing at night can get a bit tricky but its worth it if you have stereo and stuff...
this is 15%

you can see though because it was a really really sunny day
if you want limo tint done let mw know i can refer you to someone, but he wont give you a receipt
is ambulance tint the same as limo tint or darker/lighter cos i was told by the local tinting shop that ambo tint was the way to go???
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
in nsw cars made before 1994 can have tint as dark as tinted,
cars made after 1994 must be 35% or higher
cars made before 1994, but tinted after 1994 can't legally have tint lower then 35% either.
all you say is, the tint has been on there since pre 94, who is to know any different.
other states may be different.
the rules mainly have to do with cops being able to see if someone is going to pull a gun/knife and how many occupants are in the vehicle etc
just go ambo tint... i was driving old mans navara other day and that tint is like 10% and i got pulled up bc they couldnt like c the p plate lol,, they let me off nd just said put p plate on outside of vechile from now on they were nice cops

ambo tint sounds the go, cos its virtually impossible to see into it during the day. i was quoted $460 for it so it sounds reasonable i guess. also this is for rb30-power my car is a vl so it was obviously pre 94' so if i get pulled up for the ambo tint i can say it was put on before 94' and then everything will be sweet?
