and a complete waste of time what 'powers that be' ???? nothing will change, you can't change public perception with a petition petitions can request a change in policy but not what the media reports or what people think using summernats is probably not a good idea, that event seems to have become very much a grog/burnout and 'show us your tits' male dominated event: gay perhaps even ??? getting more women (Ez etc) into the modified cars scene is the best bet, they have far more sway over public perception than 100 blokes and keep things in check amongst the bogan males

I have to agree with aus880 here. Nothing good will come from this petition.

that petition need 100,000 people and in a really short amount of time to have any sort of weight behind it. so put your name down, your mum, dad, sister, brother, cousin etc etc and get 100000... 10 000 is nothing really

i put my name down but i dont really understand what its going to achieve what can the government do? its really the pigs that target us with defects etc and the media will write anythin n fcuk over any minority group just to please the majority i think this is a battle we can never win Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
