Holden Calais VL N/A Manual RB30E I will be selling my VL Calais in the coming weeks, mainly to pay off some debts, but also to get some money to work on my new VL SL I have just bought. 1986 Series 1 White/ Silver 5 Speed Manual Blue Interior - Aftermarket AutoTechnica Wheel. Will be sold with basic CD player and 4 speaker (2 in parcel shelf 2 in dash). Wheels are VL Calais, there is 6 all together. All electrics HAVE been working, rear passenger electric window is playing up, currently looking at it, also cruise control is being temperamental. Headlight Eyelids are working fine, even smoother than when I first got the car. Interior is in better than average condition, one small hole in driver seat and a crack in the centre console right up under the dash part, also the high rise console broke, the lid is still fine and will be supplied to buyer, also an aftermarket AutoTechnica wheel is included. Body is VERY straight, no dents or dings at all. Previous owner stripped car back and repainted the white, he said he got rid of all the rust at the same time, but there has been some rust bubbles along the boot seal come back after the respray. The bumpers were repainted silver, but the door moulds were not. Once bumpers and door moulds are resprayed will look immaculate. Engine is running a little rough of late, tappets are ticking, mainly just when first started. Recently just changed oil, which may not of been think enough. I have a spare engine here that the buyer is welcome to take for parts if they want it. Gearbox is going good, sometimes clutch needs to be pumped a couple times to get it into reverse, It doesn't crunch or anything, just won't go into gear. I assume that it is the clutch not engaging properly. I had an attempt a polishing the Calais rims when I got them, I gave up The rear axle (housing, diff, axles) were replaced when I got the car due to one of the axles being snapped , person I got the axle off said it was out of a wagon. Disc brakes were swapped from the old axle to the new one. The front springs will need replacing (I think I have a set of King Springs here to go on) because previous owner cut them , I have already replaced the rears ones which were also cut. I have been offered $4000 with rego. I would like a little more than this. I will supply rego and roadworthy for the buyer. I am looking for a Gemini as a daily as well (TE, TF or TG). Must be a 4 or 5 speed, must be a petrol not a diesel. May also consider trades for similar car to a Gemini. But must come with rego and preferably rwc. Will put up a few pics later tonight. Please email me at [email removed] or PM if you want more info or pics. Phone number will only be supplied to genuinely interested buyers. If I get a price I like, yellow fluffy dice on the rear view mirror WILL be included...haha. Cheers Asking Price: $4500 with Rego or $4800 with Rego and RWC. Some new pics for ya all. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3.../enginebay.jpg (http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a314/X-zempt/enginebay.jpg) http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...t/DSC01242.jpg (http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a314/X-zempt/DSC01242.jpg) http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...t/DSC01241.jpg (http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a314/X-zempt/DSC01241.jpg) http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...t/DSC01239.jpg (http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a314/X-zempt/DSC01239.jpg) http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...t/DSC01240.jpg (http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a314/X-zempt/DSC01240.jpg) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Bump. Still for sale. Will consider trades for any car really, just let me know what you got. But I would prefer out right sale, or trade + cash my way for a smaller car.

But as I said, there is a slight ticking when the car first starts (tappets), but disappears after a few seconds, and also there is an engine here that I will throw in for parts if buyer wants it, but hey, RB30s are as cheap as chips anyhow. I'm being honest about the condition of the car people, any questions just ask.

Bump, don't make me go to eBay I have another set of struts with good springs/shocks to replace the shot ones on there now, so suspension won't be an issue for RWC. Will sell for $4000 without rego. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
