What do you prefer and why? Im all for sticking with what has been used over the ages, and 1/4 mile drag racing to be measured in MPH!
Whats your choice and why??
Cheers
MPH!
That's how it is everywhere and how it always has been. Hopefully it will always remain that way

M.P.H has alway's been the standard in Drag Racing.
Now everyone that run's at Calder has to rip out their phone after a pass, and do the conversion.

MPH for sure, cause when i drag my delorean, i need to know when i hit 88mph so my flux capacitor can start fluxing and capacitating

MPH is nationally recognised. But if you have a calculator on your mobile phone, you can do a calculation from MPH to KPH easily.
1 mile = 1.6098 km
This means that if you race using 400m as the distance, then you are actually going to be marginally quicker due to 400m not being exactly 1/4 of a mile. Starting to get technical now, but a 1/4 mile is actually 402.45 metres.
Refer below; this is data from my G-tech Performance Meter, which at the click of a button can be changed from mph to kph. So if you look at the charts, you will see that the 400m time is marginally quicker than the 1/4mile (402.45m) time.
