carters clutch service at maitland has done alot of clutches for people in vl's around newie. if you want a mild daily driver type clutch, they give you an organic daikin/exedy sports clutch disc and modify the pivot point on your stock pressure plate for more clamp pressure. always risky, considering the labour to change a s/hand clutch if its not what its described to be, food for thought anyway...

carters will supply you a good clutch sabo, i'd reccomend getting the clutch through them and get someone local to fit it.

id imagine that was a button clutch and you were riding it, thats why it shat itself. i done the same thing with my first button clutch, you have to just pop them out.

man your car is making a bit of power yeh? why stuff around with single plate clutches, your just gunna keep having to change them, spend 2k and get a twin plate its well worth it

Do not use carters clutches unless u want to replace it every 6 months. I dont know what single plate to recommend but i know of good twin plates. Or 2 speed auto lol

mate i had a standard rb20 turbo clutch in mine when i first converted to manual with the mx7. Was the best clutch ive had but since i was running 260-300rwkw it was never gonna last. but that may be an option for only 200rwkw and inexpensive.

sabo i had a extreme 5 or 6 puck ceramic clutch with 300 rear and it was great for everything perfect for what your doin but if your gunna get serious manually go twin plate for sure
