hey guys as some of you may know ive had massive exhaust leak peoblems with the cheap manifold i have... the problem was that cyl no. 1 and no. 6 kept pulling away from the head i had had it faced many times and it still ended up warping and leaking... ive finally fixed the problem by cutting the flange that bolts to the head so that 1 and 6 are separate... so cut the flange bewteen cyl no.1&2 and 5&6 and it seals! just thought id let people know who has the same manifold in case they are also having the same problem. sorry bout the massive pic... its all i could find Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

yeah thats what they do cause there is no strength in the design at the collector, the metal moves at the collector and inturn pulls on the the flange.

cut them all. so each runner is seperate... Quote: why not its not like all 3 fire at the same time. no doubt, but all 3 runners are the same size, say 2 inch and go into a sigle 2 inch runner, you would think it would be bigger after all 3 join..

third that. These manifolds aren't the best design, do they actually flow that much more than a standard manifold?
