after 3 years, alot of ****ing headaches,a new shell, practically a new chassis,2 paint jobs and alot of money, its almost done, shearers brothers racing have re-done the car to a point of no return, they have changed so many things and added so much in house knowledge and quality work to this chassis that i cant thank them enough, now in the hands of the panel shop to repaint all the new brackets/mounts/bars etc added, then off to the best in business bresciani racing to place the new heart into the bay, built and done(no bragging of jiggawats will be produced unless challenged by others on a dyno),the cars been totally done to a point where it now gets pulled down to bare and placed back together so its ready for race, thats once its gets a full detail clean so it actually can look decent in pictures.
to give you guys an idea of whats been done to the engine bay that owes about 50k

about time sum1 really went all out and its clear alot of experience has gone into building the car, not any1 can just go and build a car like this and im not talking bout money wise good luck champ all the best with it
hsvque, not that its important and im sure youll never do anything like this but just for you,ill let you do the math.
billet crank $4400
pistons $1200
rods $1000
block $2000
dry sump $4000
jun rb26 head complete $11,088
thats not even any bolt on parts yet mate and were about 23k so far
then add $9k for motec m800,motec dash adsl, motec cdi, mercury coils, wow were in the 30's already, wait for it then we have a 4k turbo plus a w/gate,then $3200 water/air intercooler oops into 40k mark...i better stop there and let you do the rest, injectors, fuel rail, plenum etc,not including 3k of braided lines, fuel system, hrmmmm.nice try....i should of bought 5 ice blue stock vl calais turbos with a fmicand a cold air intake
as for running numbers,im confident it will do it in time and yes ill be driving it myself..no cheque book racing here.
p.s robbo, its already out,ok ill post pics of the new engine once it all goes back in when its all painted and looking pretty for you.
