05-09-06, 15:21 GMT+10#10 Date looks good-so I should be there all things going well-and maybe even with the NOS hooked up.
(provided it doesn't chuck a rod at Extremehorsepower/Street'nCustom/whateverit'scalledthisyear )
I won't put a deposit down until I'm a 100% starter though.
Cheers
Sean

05-09-06, 19:24 GMT+10#14 Don't think they'll have time to do any tuning on the day - it'll just be a straight power run.

Hi Darren,
Ive currently got the engine/trans out as Im having the motor o-ringed and receiver grooved and having a copper head gasket made also (stock composite gaskets dont last too long at the boost Im running and at $260 a throw its getting tiresome).
Anyway, the trans is up with Mike whilst the motors being done so he can go over it, but as far as I can tell its been flawless since I put it in. I must admit that I was wondering how it would cope with 440+kw and slicks at WSID, but it was fine-even turning the slicks on the track in 2nd instead of slipping.
Are you still having some dramas with yours?
Is this a type hes done lots of before, or is it going through a bit of a development process?
(anyway, so back on topic.....)
With any luck I should be able to blow my 392 kw from last time on the B/Worx dyno right out of the water. New valvesprings and more boost should see it run closer to it's potential. I hope the tie-down system is in full working order!
