Without getting into the technicalities that a VL S2 doesn't really exist (there is no definable S1/S2 changeover, nor does holden even recognise seperate series of them until VP) you won't get what you're after.
Why?
These so-called series 2 headrests - I assume you people talking about the padded foam ones, same shape as the VH, instead of the open vynil see-through ones like VK.
If so, they are part of the "industry seat" running change that occurred partway through the VL life (at completely different times to the cable vs rod shifter, and the chrome vs black doorhandles.. - commonly argued as S1 & S2 items).

hehehe - I should know I've got their forum link in my sig
but yeah there was never a start of stop date for the interior change overs - for example the calais seats I purchased have a series 1 designed rear map pocket and pin spacing but also have the full head rest feature and buttons and the stripe designed door trims... but half the noodles here would just look at the head rests and door trims to see if its a series 1 or 2 hehehe

well as stated there is no series 1 and 2
at some point like everything thing else they changed the production and just used the one block
1: Auto shifter changed
2: Door handles changed
3: Interior changed and seat backs go to rounded backing, vn seat runners
4: Wiring changes in body harness and engine harness, no reverse polarity relay in s2
5: Low fuel light and water light in s2 calais
6: Turbo engine block used in S2 n/a Has plugged drain and water lines.
So this probably explains why we get the odd person looking for help trying to determine if their VL is an S1 or an S2 because of the mix-matched 'S1-S2' features in their cars.
