Not everyone has the $$$ to run 9-10's. Why not encourage a true street car class ? It will be for pure street tyres only, none of this MT Streets, Nitto's etc etc. Tyres that are truely street. Eg RE92's for 15's or Falken, Nankangs etc for 16's and up. Entries from all states welcome. 1. QLD - MAX PSI RB26 - 10.34 @ 137 2 Spd Powerglide 2. NSW - ELA-747 RB30 - 11.5 @ 119 4 Spd Jatco 3. great thread but why the exception of the mt series ect? there still a street legal tyre i can c them not counting if sum1 has 18" rims but changes to 15" mts ect for racing but what if you only run 15" rims and u run the mts all day long? i cant see many, if any people beating maxpsi bar himself gettin quicker and he runs a glide

The MT's dont meet ADR's. They dont have a load rating so technically they cant be used on Australian roads.

Agree with TROY, i know of many people using semi slicks on their daily, and will be myself included (using either bfg street drag radials or mt on my calais 15" rims) ...its a bit unfair / picky excluding them, seeing as standard WRX STI 06 comes with them stock. if anyone is a member, there is a full update and guidelines and review of all semi slicks / legalities here: http://autospeed.drive.com.au/cms/A_2912/article.html i say if its legal, why exclude!

isnt this a nsw thread? Why are there other state cars in there? Cant we have one for just nsw and one for vic etc? Cos VIC is always gonna overshadow nsw when it comes to vl's, i like to see a list of what our boys are doing. Can we also run 2 seperate lists? One for auto one for manual? And maybe just a top 10 NSW for each? Thats my suggestions... lol sorry

For the time being it will stay as one list until the number gets out of hand just to get the ball rolling if you know what i mean. State and gearbox type are there for your info.
