Yeah around 2k for a gas research set up. Maybe more if you want the fuel system taken out etc.
So many people are misinformed about gas set ups. On most systems it makes NO difference if it's straight gas or duel fuel (performance/tuning wise)
The only difference is you can use the fuel system for easyer starting, when you run out of gas, trouble shooting etc.
For the set up what is the potetial to be made in rwkw?
I know the standard fuel system can make up to around 200rwkw but what could be made with a gas set up?
Ive seen pics of GAS 747 (especially in the top right corner) but unaware of what his gas set up is or its maximum fuel output etc.
Or his cost just for the gas system.
I have one line, lock off, and B2 (320hp) converter and its enough gas for around 200rwkw
Add a second line, lock off and converter and it will be good for upto 300rwkw
Gas747 has the later "twin" setup. Costing about $2800 just for the gas stuff.

Can u have a single set up like urself and then simply add to that at a later date the second set up for a "twin" set up?
Im presuming $2800 is for the twin set up or is it just the single ?
Have u got any pics of ur engine bay we could look at?

Yes you can add later... Thats what I'm doing atm Second Lock off and B2 converter, still one 8mm line. Going to go for abit over the 200rwkw mark.
I set mine up myself for only about $500 but i already had The tank and line installed.
Yes $2800 for twin set up.
I'll take some pics soon.
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
just got mine done, tank, single line to twin converters single TB, straight gas, fuel tank removed, injectors removed all other fuel stuff removed, just left the lines.
@2570, had to wait 6 weeks to get it done.
That price also includes a bigger than normal tank, loose a little more boot space, who uses the boot any way.
Straight gas from GRA was @$2950, dual fuel was @$2830
I currently get about 14l/100ks with gas.

Sounds good sleff6.
I get over 300km from 50L of gas around the city. (10psi)
Give us more detail on your setup.. ie, B2 converters? GRA TB?
And can you take a pic of set up- i would like to know where they fit the converters to the engine bay? I'm tring to work out where my second one will go.
Had it done in Pakenham, by one of the GRA suppliers/installers, Twin B2's set up in a stack one on top of the other mounted where the air box would have sat if there was one, GRA 440 TB
It is turbo, manual, Calais, Link ECU high flow T3 cooler xhaust, 14is psi and other non engine stuff
Send me a pm with youe rmail address and I will get some photos
See if this works, I need to do a little tidying up of engine bay, but when you do 600k's a week the engine bay is one of the last places to worry about.

thats sweet as thanks for that man! do you feel any power lose or does it feel the same was it a straight drive in there and wait? also sorry how long were u without your car cheers?
No power loss that I can tell or feel, it took 4 days, so no car for that time, it would depend on the installers as to how long it would take. They had a bit of trouble, needed to fabricate parts, could not get some parts, had to go and get parts of a night, I am still waiting on a fuel tank sender to arrive from the manufacturer.
The easiest way is to get on the phone and call individual installers and ask them how long, price, etc, etc.
