go for a test drive in both examples but good luck finding a descent injected 5l car for that much. or is your question asking how to spend that money on your current engine............... if your asking for help make it more specific so we can understand what you on about.

8500 on a carby 5L will get you big power efi will cost ~2 grand just to get a management, ~3 grand for a good ecu, etc disclamer : in no way did i say carby is better than efi, just cheaper to mod all in all, its up to whateva you want as they both have advantages/disadvantages

suggestion, sell your 5litre and buy a new complete 5.7litre holden stroker motor for about 7g... fit it up, get an exhaust and cold air, and youll be pushing near 250kw as simple as that. Or if u wanna get complicated build your own stroker, 8.5g is more than enough to cover it and build a nice healthy one, depending how much u can do yourself.

Quote: bah! some 4's use mroe fuel then V8's anyway man The red Holden 6s use more than the 5.0s my 5.0 used only a tank to travel to a town whereas the red 6 used tank doing the same trip. Modern 4s are good my WRX got 720km from a 60L highway driving and still had 5L fuel left. VN pppfftt. Why not get something older like a minta VH SLE or an XT 289 (Jet_Girls sighsXT's are very lush)
