Hi Guys,
I know you are smart when it comes to VL's and such, so i thought i would ask. I know it's hard to say, as something is only worth what people are willing to pay, but i think this car would be fairly unique.
I've got a 1987 VL Berlina (Non Turbo). It's got a genuine 20,800kms on the clock. The car is completely original, immaculate inside and out. Although the paint does have a few small scratches here and there. It's actually quite freaky for a VL, the spare tyre has never been removed, ashtrays never used and the car is actually on its first set of tyres (maybe a bit risky 17 years on hehe). Of course it has all books and a full service history.
Would you think some sort of VL freak would want something like this, or is it just an amusing novelty?
Keep It, though just cose it has low km and that dont make it worth a forturne though you should be able to sell it for a good 6K i would imagine. Are you the original owner or the second :?:
Guy's, it has a genuine 20,800 km's. That would fetch closer to 10k if its in good nick. Where else would you get a VL with that low k's on the clock?
Too bad you arent in Brisbane, Id buy it off ya quick smart.
I recon it would be worth 10k +. You are very lucky to have it. It would be almost impossible to find a VL like that. . Does it still have the "new car" Smell.
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
picked up my vl exec with only 74,000 klms on the clock... hehe same deal, ashtrays never used, one owner, still had original sparkplugs etc,.. replaced now after all these years ; the paint was faded though. since then had it resprayed etc...
but body wise it is immaculate very happy with my pick up..
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
nah no need 4 a respray yet, still mint. i dont know if its new car smell, or old lady smell lol, but it smells good. hehe. if i can work out how to post pics, i'll put a couple up.

No Motor Vehicle companies purchase back used cars, no matter how good or how rare they are. The people you would want to ring are collectors, car yards or advertising in the paper and what not.
But as with anything, its worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it
Holden in Campbelltown and Cooma have bought cars of people. Campbelltown bought a low k's 48/215 and Cooma has got a few but all I remember was a low k's EH...
