For more info on any of these, PM me... i'll be at probably all of these events to.
Yeah, if ya going to Archerfield though i suggest taking the obligatory XXXX Gold bottles for breaking and smashing over peoples heads afterwards... it seems to be the norm for down there.
I'll be there at about 6:45.

Nothing wrong with a good brown water... you're just soft Jeffo. Personally i like nothing more than coming home to a good crown lager after a hard week at work.
Now back on topic for all of about 5 minutes, who's goin to the burnout comp?
"Nothing wrong with Brown Water"
Too right, bourbon all the way.
Oh and its a Brisbane thread, you've got bugger all chance of keping it on track.
Why cant Willowbank have a Test and Tune on a Saturday? Im sick of all the T&T days being on Wednesday. I gotta work when they are on. Really annoys me.
I'm workin till 10:30 tonight, so wont be out at the burnout comp. Been there a few times, not too bad - the burnout pad has no immediate barriers, so no dented up cars if you come loose or swing the donut to wide...
ok a test and tune is where anyone can race any car at Willowbank.
You need to wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt, and a helmet to race.
Costs are $30 to race, $15 for an adult and $12(i think) for Kids... racing entry gets one other person in as pit crew.
I don't think you can hire them there, but then anyone willing to prove me wrong here please do so.
Cash Converters usually have a good range of them for reasonable prices. I picked up my Motocross style one for about $75
I can see your point in not buying a helmet... but then when you're not running quick times (e.g. 10's) a brand new 100% safe helmet isn't too big of an issue really.
Good new ones are around the $500 to $800 range.
hmm i like to keep my head in good condition.. i would rather be assured that my helmet is not going to crush should the unthinkable happen. on the other hand $650 gets my car some nice little "go fast bits" i am keen for a track day.. get some laps times going. thats where real skill and handling comes into play. not that i have either but it would be fun jeffo
