hornet-
Big funkin cam, chiptorque. The guy who works next door made only 98rwkw but the mid range power is crazy. Its got a standard head, should make heaps more with porting and valve seat job.
But hey theres lots of people with nasty NA RB30 powered cars. Not all them use the forums or even know what internet is!

that sounds very impressive. The only thing is i can't really justify the $700 for chiptorque :/ Does any one know a price comparison between the chiptorque and say Unichip??

yeah as is said before on darkhalfs original camshaft/porting thread that its $700 plus your original cam for Chiptorque HP3 and a Surecam regrind.
So really for $700 your getting the chip and the cam. But Chiptorque/surecam want $150 deposit in case the cam u send them is poo.
In Zoom they quote Unichip as $748, full installation and tune plus dyno graphs cost $1595. Like the Chiptorque chip,Unichip can only be tuned by an Unichip dealer.

I reckon! As if playing with the timing, changing the diff and getting a 2.5 inch 'zorst is going to get you 100rwkw.

it was dyno for the best proformenc at 100rwkw air was advanced on the AFM and the timing advanced, 2 1/2" exhaust, pod filter, cold air intake and 3.90 diff I guess it's ok for a VL 5 speed.

VL Ben- what do you mean by advanced AFM?
I've ****ed around with the RB30 AFM heaps and i only know of changing the resistance which i have posted on this forum a little while ago.
I reckon it works, just about everyone else reckons it doesn't.
I would like to hear how you have modified your AFM.
