Kane, alot of big power cars that hit the track don't go out on max power.

From a roll, with the proper suspension setup and good tyres, I'm talking either et streets or radials in 295/55/15 or 325/50/15, a supra can hook 1000rwhp+ from 2nd gear
Not sure on other cars, they probably can't fit a tyre that big without tubs ect
There's not many huge hp supras around qld that I know of that goes out street racing
And I don't know of any that have a 15x10 rear wheel to fit the big 295 or 325

I would expect that ford too weigh a fair bit?
It takes a lot of power to run MPH with a lot of weight.
Yes even 1000hp in an unset-up car can yield low MPH and rubbish ET's
I thought 143mph was pretty good. Im never around 1000rwhp cars but, so im probably not the best judge.

But if a car is 3000lb and runs 160mph? is that close to 1000hp??
I'm confused too. hahaha

960hp
3000lbs? Is that all
Supras are between 3200-3300lbs + driver so to run 160mph in approx 3500lb car is 1119hp
150mph is 922hp
Are these drag calcs flywheel or rear wheel hp?
---------- Post added 01-04-12 at 14:13 ----------
Xr6t kerb weight is between 3600-3800lbs
So to go 141mph with 4000lb is 875hp
143 is 913hp

Yeah looks to only touch the brakes at the end but how it's revving is a bit weird for a powerskid

lol. Why run radials in a dyno comp, thats as stupid as going to the drags on 20's.
Anyway read the comments on those youtube links, funny as.

That XR6 is massively on the brakes. You can see in the beginning where he starts moving then slows it down again

Maybe not. I didn't watch it all the way through.

Well the pins have arrived
Hopefully crankshaft engineering will have them Tuesday
Then hopefully I'll have the motor back ready for assembly b4 the weekend
I'm seriously running out of time quick!
Qldsc dyno day is in the 21st which I really need to have the car ready for
I won it last year, want to back it up again this year!
