went in today, repairer said front looked like it had been hit before. they have pretty much all the parts and another vl there to unpick the front end off of and put onto my car, will also be using the bonnet, guards, bumper etc off of that car. also managed to score the power steering pump, and few lines from at as they are mint and quiet as a mouse and mine is stuffed. so will be changing them over tomorrow after work. calais front end is there to and has all been cleaned up and working mint.

i know im stoked, went in after work tonight and front end is on car, calais front on and guard swaped over, making sure everything lined up before they weld it on. tomorrow will be getting welded on and windscreen will be coming out. also now thinking about painting the whole car, painter made me an offer i cant really refuse lol. $600 for the rest of the car to be painted and cleaned up, so thats from the rear doors back (including rear doors)

silverslate always has and always will be my favourite colour for a vl. there's a pic of big keels's silverslate calais on internationals floating around on here. all time favourite vl with the colour combo with the interior. nice work!
