yeh i knoo but they banned it from the servos here so i get it from et racing fuels in sydney who blends it with his 106 octane unleaded which gives a higher octane than YOUR e85 Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

et racing fuels seem to be the go had a bit of a chat with nicholas from et 2night and he was telling me about his blends his e85 on his site is mixed 85% ethanol and 15% et98 and its $600 for 200lts he also blends it with et102 and et106 for a touch more $$ his e85+ fuel has 2% nitro in it thats why its $770 for 200lts and on the coast they have a supplier not to far from me Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

for those WA people reading this, i thought i should include a reply from Caltex. i sent a general enquiry into this fuel, more specifically e-flex and its future in WA: "Hi Jack Sorry for taking so long to respond. Your query is a very specific one and I wanted to make sure I had all the facts prior to responding. Currently there are no ethanol producers in Western Australia, and this restricts our ability to sell ethanol blended petrols in the west. All the Australian ethanol producers are on the east coast: CSR, Manildra and Dalby Biorefinery. Unfortunately, what this means is that we have no current plans to introduce ethanol blended fuels in the West - due to our preference of supporting only Australian biofuels producers. You're probably aware that we're blending E-Flex to the US standard (ASTM D 5798-09a) which means that we'll have different classes of blends, in this case 2: a summer (with a vapour pressure range of 38-59 kPa) and a winter blend (vapour pressure range of 48-65 kPa). This then translates to find variation in the ethanol content within the fuel itself and consequently it impacts on the consistency of octane. However, we will only be changing the blends twice a year (usually February and October) and the ratios will only change there and then. So simplistically, there will be consistent octane levels for 6 months at a time with the product. We can provide the ratios seasonally as they are set, if required. This only partly answers your question about introducing a controlled fuel with a set octane level, so let me address that directly. E-Flex is designed specifically with flex-fuel vehicles in mind and not the finely tuned vehicles you describe. Without saying too much, it's not in our immediate plans. Thanks for your query and let me know if I can assist with anything else. " so this is relevent to the eastern staters too, when talking about the new E-flex coming in.

Ive just emailed bosch if there is anything similar to the 044 pump in terms of performance but with a much longer life with flex fuels. Will post up once i get a reply... Ill be driving my car more than 2 days a week to from work etc hopefully so 500 hrs aint cool ---------- Post added 12-01-11 at 15:08 ---------- Bosch Customer Enquiry Reply: We would like to advise: No the pump is rated to be RELIABLE for 500 hours Most of the older EKP 3 and 4 pumps are E85 compatible. There is no E85 program as such. 500 hours would equate to ~ 20,000 km under NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS.

New servo on Canterbury rd just up from dorset rd in Bayswater just opened today. As I was driving past I noticed Bio-flex signs so I went back for a gander. Price was $1.11 per L and 98 was $1.45 per L. Pumped was closed so I went in and asked if it was E85 and she said yes but we have it closed because people dont know what it is yet.
