I'll bite....Why?
Not trying to sound like a d1ck hole, but everything seems to be more expensive than where i buy online, thats prob cos i bought a suzuki more than anything and there is SFA around second hand. But some of the Yamaha gear can be had crazy cheap.....I'm all for supporting buying in Aus if its worth it.
christian
dao is a top bloke, will help you with anything.
ive brought heaps off him and allways buy what ever i need through him, other than genuine items he doesnt stock.
im not to sure about pricing as i havnt really compared, his allways looked after me and helped me with anything.
i dont mind paying a little extra to get the service he provides, ive called him about little things on a couple occasions and his allways willing to help.
Hey can I get some advise.
Its on my two stroke yz250 05..
Anyway cable snapped & the clutch was out of adjustment.. So i pulled off the flywheel cover & pulled the cable off... the little rod that it pulls on is completely in freeplay its not biting on anything.
Can someone tell me what part is worn out.. clutch plates seem pretty good, I was thinking something to do with the rod or maybe the springs.
i'd put it down to the rod or springs too.....my money would be on the pushrod though. If the push rod assembly is really slack then its the only thing i would expect it to be. Its part number 23 on the image.....only about $15
I talked to a bike shop today he said the springs dont do bugger all with the movement of the clutch..
The rod I was refering to was part number 24 where the clutch cable actually connects too.. it has no tension on it.. its obviously all connected however.
www.motocrossgiant.com (http://www.motocrossgiant.com) FTW
I recently got a Full Titanium/Stainless exhaust system for my bike with megabomb front pipe. Looks hollywood! Got it rejetted and tuned recently also,
Havent ridden it since, waiting for a cooler day to approach.
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Pull the clutch out and take a peek, it shouldn't be the end of the earth.

mate i have a massive list to order online. gotta get the parts to set the suspension up for my weight. i was quoted $1100 for someone to do it for me. Phuck that, i'll give it a go myself.
I have been going on www.motosport.com (http://www.motosport.com) & www.rockymountainatvmc.com (http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com) ...... both have some pretty sweet deals.
let us know how the new zorst goes Arie

www.boats.net (http://www.boats.net) also seems to have pretty good prices on bike parts - I've bought a few things from there, and with postage included from the US its been cheaper than buying from the dealership in AU.
I would have name dropped locoX but they are screwing me around with a order they stuffed up..
If you call Allan on 9470 6006
He set up the tune on my bike. Pretty sure he can set up the suspension.
I know I'll be goin to him to get stroker kit for the yz when it gets tired.
Figured it out.. the actuator arm that the cable hooks upto is rooted.. the corner is snapped off..
$70 from genuine parts so not too bad I guess.
The YZ looks awesome boyracer..
Christian:- Took the bike out for a ride yesterday after the new zorst and tune. It hammers
After an idling issue (me pushing choke in too early) and taking it for a warm up spin it pulls!

I need to get a new rear tyre now.....and me being me i have to look up online what people suggest for a soft/ intermediate tyre.....bad move, there are like 5 or 6 that seem to get decent reviews and then another 30 that have mixed reviews. S0....what do people suggest for a soft / intermediate just to confuse me some more.

found an australian site where u can purchase a fairly decent range for moto, not quite as much as what u can get from the states, but still good. decently priced in comparison to US sites as well. Plus they sell for MTB, BMX, SNOW & Adventure. Seem to have decent range for SNOW & MTB.
