well greetings friends at 10 30 last night, got a call from maatouks "patch man, your car's running now, nice and sweet, a bit rough to start with no cold start but runs like a dream," me:"sweet, so still good to pick up tomoz?" maatouks" yeh but the bonnet doesnt close man, the plenum hits, but ill get queen st to fix it" so i went down to maatuoks, saw the car and saw how the plenum hits, then went down to queen st, and cut some of the underside of the bonnet frame away still only closes on the first catch cut some more away still only closes on the first latch then they moved the back of the bonnet up and wound the latch screw down bonnet closes but is resting tight on the plenum, and they said when i drive the motor is gonna torque and the plenum will hit so drove it, get home, and yep a little dint on the bonnet oh well i thought, no biggie, gave the whole car a nice proper wash, get the camera ready, hop in the car, start her up, turn the corner and the car dies, try to start it nothing so im now stuck at the bottom of a dip about 500m from my house with the car half sticking on the road finally my dad comes home from work, flat tows it home and we have a look and there's no spark so we're pretty sure it's now the CAS which has decided to become a dole bludger and not wanna work so tomoz im gonna round to nate doggs house, to pick up his one, fingers crossed mine starts then drive it back to maatouks to make sure the distributor and so on are all working fine then to get the side mould stickers put on and here are the pics, sorry about the crap quality but the digital cam battery's are flat so had to use good ol nokia EDIT: Found some batteries, dig pics are at the bottom here's us after we flat towed it home then the almighty engine bay Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
