27-05-11, 22:29 GMT+10#181 hey guys im thinking im going to be needing a new trans or rebuild soon as mine is starting to slip in second gear. i know most people will say MV automatics just wondering who has had there's built there and what did it cost and what is done to the trans. im not wanting anything crazy just be able to handle 250kw and a shift kit not to keen on a stally.

05-06-11, 17:58 GMT+10#187 had a complete rebuild of n/a auto trans with stage 2 shift kit, 2800 stally, large trans cooler etc to handle 250kw for $2200 at MV autos... Mikes good coz you can have a chat with him... turn around isnt too bad depending on how busy the boys are.

We do them at work, but would only do all 6 of them at once.

Mate got his done at a place on deacon ave richmond. They have the set up to make it fit. Cant remember there name tho sorry
