Had a show and shine down here in albany in october. a mate of mine has a group 2 VH brocky. He got offered $25,000 for it, but too much value to him so he's going to have that thing till he dies. At the same time there was a VH SS in the parking lot for $9,000. No Mods. I was soooo tempted to buy it, it'll give me something to stick my HDT-253 Plates on as it was also completly original, no work to the car.

I like the vk kits, but the vh interior (such as the dash, cluster, etc...). My VH will have my old VK Body kit (bumpers, skirts, grill), VH SS Instrument cluster (In now... tacho's slightly out of wack), VL Calais door trims, seats TBA, all beigh/brown interior, and an RB30E under the bonnet. Keeping it 5 speed too (will be getting a 5 speed to suite the rb30e though).
May turbo charge it later down the track, but its for my missus, so for now its n/a (she gets off her p's in Feb, so you can imagine insurence would be high for a few more years yet).
I started the 1st step of te paint job though. We've got with Wild Violet. Starting with the boot. I'm in the primer stages at the moment, should have it's 1st coat of WV tomorrow night. The colour is pretty much the same as the purple vh on top of page 6 of this thread. It's not going to look the same, we have another color to go on it yet

lol, they're 18's and i wouldnt have a clue what they're called, i thought they were roh furys when i baught them but when i compared them they're heaps different hey... I gota grpA rear bar sitten in tha garage but i have to respray it, the silver bars just there to make it look half neat lol
