Still 51 but I've got a call in to a local bloke that has another red V8 for sale just up the road from me. Check the first post for the full update.

That'd explain why it popped up here this morning - http://search.carsguide.news.com.au:...&vehicleType=1 (http://search.carsguide.news.com.au:80/news/show-car-details.do?vehicleId=NIMAUCARSA%3A1&vehicleType=1) Sounds like someone has upset him.

I hate to hear stuff like this. Do you know much more about the car? Like if it was a genuine A9Y or if it was a turbo. I guess even if it is a genuine A9Y and it's written off (which I bet it probably would've been), we can at least hope that no-one was too badly hurt. If anyone knows anymore could they post it up please.

If anyone knows anymore could they post it up please. it used to be mine - i sold it to my wifes cousin about 6 weeks ago. He's ok but a bit shaken up. It wasn't a genuine A9Y (V8 Berlina with a calais front), but a shame to see it gone... single vehicle accident - lost the back end clipped the curb, and flipped ... car is obviously a write off ... anybody got a good wagon shell going - hopefully going to re-shell it? Had to kick out a side window to get out - but otherwise - no injury. i'll try and get a pic off the car to post up, but it's pretty sad looking. Thanks for your concern! Jamie

Great to hear he's okay. As much as we love our cars I'm sure we can all appreciate that they're nothing at all compared to the value of a human life. Sounds like he was lucky to escape unharmed with so much damage to the car. It's amazing how well seatbelts work (and that so many people still don't wear them ). Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
