I have started up a forum for these particular cars that I am selling: http://plaighobbies.forumsplace.com/ This is mainly to help out customers with problems and eventually I will be adding many articles on repairing and replacing different parts of the cars.

I have sold many cars in Alice Springs, I am not sure where they get the fuel from but I know it is available. It might be a toy shop or I think somebody told me a newsagent sells it aswell.

I have 7 currently in stock. hey trev. I know these are a bit old, but i was woundering if you had anymore of these coming in or if you could get some? At the moment i have a kyosho alpha 3 RTR with a gx.15 in it for bashing round and i am looking to upgrade but i have a few questions about these... Whats the exact brand of these? - do they have a direct website? So are these just the same as the buggy but with road tyres and a different shell? is the suspension different? how do these things go handling wise on the road? would i be able to put some offroad tyres similar to the buggy ones and go on dirt tracks? - i am looking for more of a on road car that could take a bit of dirt every now and again - these look good! Are they a two speed? if not does it have the upgrade? - im after a similar set up to the buggy .18 2 speed - but not in a buggy set up - lol. Do you have any pics of the Controller that comes with these? sorry bout all the questions mate, just very interested in getting one as they are very addictive!!

Hi, I do have 1 left in stock at the moment, the brand of these cars is HSP, they don't have a website as yet but there is one that is being made and is incoherent english/chinese that just doesn't make any sense. These are different to the buggy because they complete front and rear ends have different parts, they have smaller shocks, and a foam bumper etc. Handling is excellent on the road and with a set of foams it is competitive with alot of more expensive cars. This car has a 2-speed and .16 engine but I can upgrade the engine to the .18 if you wish. Here is a small video of my own one of these with the .18 on a track: http://www.plaig.com.au/rcrace.wmv The front buggy tyres fit it but the rear ones are a bit too wide and rub on the chassis, so I have put front buggy tyres all round on mine and it is pretty good off road, but I wouldn't go jumping it or anything like that. Here is a picture of the controller that comes with it: Let me know if your interested.

New upgrade now available is the Truggy upgrade, this is a mix between a buggy and a truck and has proven to be a good strong reliable combination: This upgrade is an additional $40 for me to fit on a new car or $100 to buy all the parts needed. It consists of a hi-torque single speed gearbox with fantastic take off and top speed, single speed clutch bell, brake camshaft to suit single speed gearbox and monster truck wheels. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
