FYI, Pacemaker make a kit for VL-VS PH 5345 see http://pacemaker.com.au/holden_commodore_v8_vb-vt.html extractors, driver side starter, engine mounts and gearbox cross member If you use starter conversion kit it will hit passenger side extractors.

Pacemakers are Tri-Y's with only 1-3/4" primaries. If you want 4-1's with 1-7/8" primaries that allows for the starter conversion to the passenger side - check out: CAE (http://www.caenterprises.com.au/hs_dbase/ch_more.php?details=Li9jaF9oZWFkZXJzX2RldGFpbHMuY3N2fENILTgwQXxDT01NT0RPUkUgVkItVkMtVkgtVkstVk4tVlAtVlItVlMgV0lUSCBHRU4gSUlJIGFuZCBMUzIuIDQgSU5UTyAxIERFU0lHTiBXSVRIIDEgNy84aW4gUFJJTUFSSUVTIEFORCAyIDEvMmluIE9VVExFVC4gQUxTTyBBVkFJTEFCTEUgSU4gMSAzLzRpbiBCWSBSRVFVRVNUfCQxNTAwfGh0dHAtLy93d3cuY2FlbnRlcnByaXNlcy5jb20uYXUvaW1hZ2VzL2hlYWRlcnMvY2g4MGEuanBn)

Unless you are using a VL-VS K frame and rack. These pipes must have a passenger side starter conversion kit. Can anybody confirm if these extractors require a mini starter as well ie not a LS1 starter?

lol... I can guarantee that money is wearing thin on this project. Current estimates for everything is $18k-$20k I'm looking forward to see how they turn out too. Had a chat to them today and going with Tri-Y's, as Tri-Y's with big primaries, and a decent sized secondary into twin 3" exhaust will be more than enough flow for the engine, but keep some good torque over the 4-1's. Tri-Y's will be easier to fit aswell. Hopefully see my starter conversion kit show up tomorrow. Exhaust shop want it ASAP so they can do the passenger side headers.. lol... Talk about running on a tight time scale. Hoping to have it all done for PowerPlay on 19th May. Will see how we go.

Are you running twin exhaust set up all the way through or into 1 near the diff? Trying to work out what to do with mine. Considering dumping at the diff.

Twin all the way.

Are you running a fuel cell?? If not, i wouldn't mind seeing a picture after its done.

No Fuel Cell. I believe the exhaust will be running under the diff as there won't be enough room to put both over the diff. Pics will go up into my build thread once done... will be a few weeks until I get the car back.
