So, as promised, with lots of these... ...and a lot of this... ...we ended up with this! And then she went back to her little home. So now I have to get off my arse with the interior, and financially recover/save for a diff. On a side note, the brackets for my rear courtesy lights have been removed, so they're definately a casualty. And the interior light bracket is obscured by the B pillar hoop, so yeah - No Melways after 7pm!! Massive thanks to Rai Curry at FABRaiCATIONS for all his help and expertise, and top quality worksmanship (is that word?). Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

In a rough estimate, how much did all your red interrior cost?

It depends which parts of the red interior you want to include in the price. The complete normal Berlina interior minus front seats was $150, then I replaced the dash top pad for $25, then the centre console lid for $20, and I'll be using some of my old dash sprayed the right colur (like $15 a can). Then there's the painting of the cage (some part of $3200, probably about $200). Carpet is new from Knox Auto Carpets, that was about $140 delivered from memory. Front seats will be Sparco Pro2000s (RRP $1100 each), then there's the parco 6 point harnesses ($600 each). So, roughly, $4000. If it's that good it's probably worth it, because you'll spend money fixing it up and replacing bits.

Yea....i would buy it for my car but im selling it:'(

Geez, I'm so good to you guys. Spending my day off making nice pictures for you to touch yourselves over. So, with a bit of hammering... ...and some "testing"... Most of the interior back in: And, an artsy one: I'm in love. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yeah, you don't see many people getting the A pillar done like that I suppose, but the thing is so strong you can lift the car off it. It's actually tagged at the top of the B pillar, which I didn't realise initially. Luckily I was able to get my three grab handles back in (just), but my sunvisors are history. No way to get them in. The carpet and dash still needs to be sorted out, and I need to get new rear handles. The ones I've got are broken (screws keep pulling through it). Thanks for the comments guys, you're keeping me going! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

According the the engineering literature you can download from the VicRoads website, it opens with something along the lines of "There are no specific requirements regarding roll cages in street registered vehicles." It is designed within the guidelines given in that information anyway. Quote: Originally Posted by bubalu cheers mate,I think i spotted you during the day,did you have a red workshop shirt on? I had a CT top on! Red and black, about ten sizes too big for me! Quote: Originally Posted by malpaso you dont wanna know dont calais front it man keep it berlina spec I'm not too fussed about it. If someone offers me $500 tomorrow, then I'll ditch it and go get a standard front. Otherwise I can't really be bothered changing it! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
