New cooler and pipe work is finally done, and thats about all at the moment, waiting for the new dash to get wired, shouldnt be too ong, and the exhaust needs to be finished, after that its just bit and pieces.

more updates, i know there is little to be done to get the engine started!

Little has been done really, I have told them on the rollers next week is the only option they have now. Dash is ready to be wired, bonnet pins are in and bonnet done. Almost wired up, exhaust just needs side pipes to come out of the sill and external gate plumbed back in. Still got catch can and oil pump braket to be made. Fingers crossed, should be good for a run at drag nats, just street tyres and pump fuel.

Car wont be ready for drag nats, got a bit side tracked with a new trailer for it instead. Shouldnt be too far away now, i havent been in to check progress for a week or so, just stay out of the way and let them get it finished. Exhaust it finished, cooler and blow off vlave is also all done, pretty sure Marshy has finished the wiring now, and Laurie has finished all the carbon fibre work for the minute, still more of that to come. Hanging to get it back so we can start on the suspension and try to get a track day in this year, get it all sorted and setup for next year hopefully, I just want to race it now.

Cheers mate, the exhaust was done for ground clearance, with the new suspension it will hopefully sit a bit lower, and just for a bit of wank factor I guess. Sticking with the wheels at the moment, kind of looking for a few old sets of oz racing wheels with the five stud pattern, but nothing around, either that or a set of 3 piece wheels, 18x10's so I can fit some decent sized slicks under it. Yeah the sill has been cut out, something a bit different, bit gay, but what can you do now. Ill be happy if its started and tuned this year, doubtfull though. Got a wedding I have to go to in fcking Ireland next Feb, so that will slow progress down a bit, im hoping the get a track day in by the end of feb at least.

Yeah, but I cant remeber what its is, its huge though, basically it has to fit under the body line, but you can make wide body gaurds, so no real size limit, just what you can fit, and what tyre best suits the weight of the car. the best I have found would be a Michelen 18x10, similar to the Porsche and Ferrari cup cars.

The nose panel cover is carbon fibre, same as the dash and the door trims, I need the pedal box mate, destroyed the old ones so i had to make it work. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Jessus, relax Tim, Im having enough trouble tryin to get the car started without getting started on the paint Yeah paint it the same as before mate, yellow on top black underneath. Steve with the pedal box you run 2 master cylinders and no booster, its apparently a better pedal feel when the masters are sized, and the balance bar is set up properly. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
