The most ****ed up and stupidest thing happened to me today. I just got my car back from the panelbeaters (fixed/resprayed). Looks so much better then it did before. Anyway... I hadnt drove the VL in so long and thought I'd give her a test up the road and back. Not knowing that the bonnet springs and latches had been takin out by the panelbeaters, the bonnet flew up, bent the **** out of the cowel panel and cracked my windscreen on both sides. This happened within 10 minutes of getting her home after such a long wait!! I just really feel like dying right now. Another 1K I will have to fork out.

If I left something out of a job at work, and it resulted in damage like that.. my boss would kill me. I'd also recommend not taking it back to the same panelbeaters..

in my old VL hooked up the two rocker cover breather hose's to a sealed catch can whilst going to get a vic roads inspection, Lets just say pressure built up and the hose/clamp gave way at the rocker cover and left a few oil stains upon the engine bay! Nice!

He wasn't working on a car (I think he was making targets for their gun club?) but my workmate's brother shot himself through his left hand with a nailgun today. Second time in a couple of months! Pulled his own hand off the wood and then pulled the nail out.
