they always sit like that, sticking out and on an angle.
Rather than cut any thing just get a heat gun and soften the heater duct that head unit hits and push it in a bit, the head unit will slide right in.
theres not alot you can do about the angle unit sits though. its the way the dash plastic angles.
I just put grey trim on underside of cage to hide it a bit, looked good.
hope that helps

you have to be pretty gay to own a honda .......oh wait oops
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
Those old Type-Rs are pretty decent in the twisty stuff and as long as you keep them screaming. Also knowing you can thrash them as much as you like and they'll never die is a warming feeling
Here is a picture of the house bus i got tinted side windows and put the in, this thing is massive they extended the height of it cause the owner is 7ft tall. He is getting it made into a house bus (he has too much money)

Lol 90grand to put cheome pannels and paint it. This includes adding the 1meter height.
Now the whole interior is getting done 600hours worth. Hate to pay that bill!!
crikey, that is epic. and they complain about mirror tints being reflective!
Specking of mirror tint, spotted in Penrose yesterday a VE commy sedan fully wrapped in chrome, it was like a mirroe coming towards you, it was like yours eyes playing tricks on you cause of the reflections of everything around it. pretty well done, hate to think what that was worth to wrap.
Theres a VE ute done the same in Aucks too.
currently under debate, theres no WOF standard that says you cant do it. Just sections on obstruction to other drivers and reflection/blinding. Kind of the same reason with chrome protruding from the bonnet.
There are restrictions on how reflective tint can be so I can see them extending this to the full body if it becomes more popular. But then where do you start and stop, can you have a chrome grille/badges/stickers etc

There's a chromed ClubSport just down the road from my work - but it's owned by Signwise. Gas Graphics used to have a mean looking matt black Crewman with gloss highlights.
Jaguar NZ have also wrapped a new XF in chrome - nice job -certainly catches the eye!
I was in Dubai only a few weeks ago where I saw a chromed Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe. I'll post a pic later.
