Nah hasn't left the sunroof place yet, will be back at Bassa's by the end of the week though. Was supposed to be today but every time I want to move the car the heavens open damned hole in the roof and no rear screen...

Getting there slowly. Will be worth it come summer time and you have your moon roof open!

Haha it's not quite a moon roof! It is pretty much gutter to gutter though

Big, electric and expensive. Also roof mounted.
Finally got the standard throttle cable shortened by a mob near work. No joke it's about a third the length of the standard throttle cable and didn't even set me back $50 so I was cheering. I can finally sit in the drivers seat and rev it out!
Hoping to give the car a bit of time this weekend. I pulled the plugs last night and they're blacker than a Queensland State of Origin player so I'll replace them and change the oil at the same time which should have the motor a little happier to be alive.
Also have to fix a problem with the IAC - I think in my heavy handedness with the vacuum blanks I've blocked it off which is making starting the car very hard indeed. When it does start though the sound is awesome - few things are more satisfying after building the car for 12 months than standing back and just listening to it idle perfectly.
Few other tiny jobs like blocking off one of the factory water lines (really wish I'd done this with the engine out!), installing a fitting to the power steering rack so I can finally run the low pressure return line from the rack to the resevoir and sorting out the issue with the brake booster. I've ordered the turbo check valve and the non turbo check valve but neither fit - what booster have I got?!?!
Might even finish fitting all the bar skirts, refit the front bar, wash it and get some new pics up!

Not yet but it's a necessity. Need the pinstripe, the red walls and the door moulds on to finish this thing aesthetically. Oh, and that gaping hole in the roof to be filled but we don't talk about that.

Liam, what would an average sized electric sunroof set me back installed?
Much trouble or more than it's worth?

Probably between $2-3,000 man, as your car is straight it'd just be a matter of cutting the hole and you'd be right! I don't know if I'd go through the hassle again, though. My install is costing me even more than that, but that's got a lot to do with me getting carried away! A bigger sun roof? Fantastic idea! Top of the range you say? Why not! Top half respray? Better convert to VT window rubbers, and so on and so forth. At the moment it's a bit of a hassle but I reckon it'll be worth it in the end.
To put it bluntly if I never had the hole in the roof to begin with I wouldn't have even thought about cutting one.

Gave the car a wash over the weekend (excuse the low-res pics). Still isn't driving, but after an oil and plug change it's humming along quite nicely. I really have to get the year old fuel out of the tank though!
Car should be out of my driveway and back at the shop by the week's end getting the diff looked after (finally got some 4.11s!) and the clutch sorted. Then it's drivable!
