I only ask as I have an RB25DET in the bay, and there is a gnat's c0ck clearance between the booster and intake plenum, which means it'll be a major pain to change the booster.
We used to do this years ago before we started with the VT booster modifications. You will need a good resleever because you do not want the bore machined out to big so it goes into the proportioning valve wall and also you will need new pistons and seals made for the larger bore.As you can see it can be done but very tricky.
We have the 3 pipe adapters for the VT master cyl and we charge $55 which includes delivery in Australia. If you have a flaring tool you can reflare the brake pipes so the adapters are not needed. We also have the spacer for the VT master cylinder to fit to the VS booster so you don't have to cut the booster pushrod and this is $40 delivered.

Thanks for that. Do you think the result of the rebore is as good as the booster upgrade?
Just looking at my options at this stage as modifying the master cylinder would be a lot less work than removing the booster. Becuase of the way the RB25DET sits, I think I would have to lift the engine off of its mounts in order to remove and fit a new booster.

I can't remember the bore size we used to get out of them as it was along time ago but to be honest the VT booster and master cylinder is better as it has a larger bore size and more power from the booster.Do it right and do it once i say.

Our fittings are $15each x 3 = $45 and freight is $10 in a 500gm Aus Post Satchel
i recnetly have done this conversion using vs booster and vt master just reflared the lines works a treat and couldnt live with out it now, and thanks to this thread made it so easy

Thanks mate.... just wanted to make 100% sure..
does it matter which one lines up?
muffin from wat i remeber the back brake line is bigger so it can only go in one and the front to dnt mater as long as they dnt leak. on the vt master the front brakes go closest to the firewall one is above the other below and the single one on it own at front closer to headlight is the back brakes.

Thanks mate.. yeh i took a pic of mine and some on the net and realised what i have to do .. After going to the wrekers and then slicing my hand open i sort of though ... hey this wont line up and in this entire thread it had no mention of bending the lines and im like surely someone would of mentioned it... rather be safe the sorry - espcially trying to remove the back brake line
all good - Thanks again
Btw mate just offered me a brand new one with a booster for $120 - Hes not 100% sure its a vs booster... any part numbers i can look for?
Thanks in advance
i cut it then did the slot as shown as the master cylinder looked nicer not having spacer i think the hardest part bout the whole thing was getting to one of the booster bolts that go through the firewall it was just in prick of a spot other then that i love how it stops now even though im still repin drums on the back
