LAGWAGON hes running King Ultra Lows, here are a few more pics of it (in these photos it had the RB30 in it still)
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
arethem wheels 18's and how wide are they?
is he running king ultra lows in front and rear?
and can u find out if it rubbs in the back wheel arches with passengers in the back...
i really wonna find out as much about what susp set up and all he is running as i love the height of it
yeh they are 18's and i think they are 8in wide
running king ultra lows front and rear
doesnt rub on the back with a car load, it only rubs if he goes up a driveway
that rubbing going up the driveway will be the tyre hitting the rear seabelt bolt. its located at the front of the inner wheelarch on both sides.
ide get teh grinder out and cut it down b4 it eventually putures the tyre
(i had to do tthe exact thing on my commo, and now no rubbing at all with 19x8 wheels.)
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
we put monroe shocks in the front and air shocks in the rear
Psi Wagon, nah it doesnt rub on the seatbelt bolt, it actually rubs the front guard coz one morning as we pulled into the driveway at work the tyre grabbed the guard and pulled the guard lip out
hey guys just checkin out the wagon thread, that last one is really nice, good to c most of these vls with some differnet wheels, not just big arse chromies.
I like the burnout too...... are they really that easy to do in a turbo
im lookin for a Calais/Berlina Turbo Wagon so if anyone sees anything let me know

Mine doesn't have an under bonnet light as it's only a berlina ... but all of the calais wagons started that way anyway, so maybe they didn't put it in?
i think the button to open the rear gate would be a custom job ... there is a release if you open the gate and have a look on the lining inside the car behind the lock mechanism on the gate, there is a little hole, if you look in there, there's a manual release in case you manage to lock yourself in the boot and have a cage installed.
if you strapped a custom central locking solenoid onto that so it pulled the latch and held it you could probably achieve the same thing, if your alarm had provisioning for that?

yer i think it is an after market switch as it didnt really feel like a factoury switch
you think its possible to rig this set up to the same spot as the sedans in the glove box? and on the same botton thing and what would be needed?

probably not ... the factory setup just releases the catch and the boot springs up ...
with a tailgate you'll need a solenoid to hold that piece in place for it to work i think.
anybody else have any ideas?
